ORANGE (CBSLA.com) — A bank robber has struck again on Main Street in the city of Orange.

The suspect, who authorities have dubbed the “Main Street bandit,” robbed a U.S. Bank branch around 10 a.m. Monday, according to Laura Eimiller of the FBI.

Witnesses say the suspect gave a teller a note and then spoke, demanding $2,000 in large bills, as well as $50 and $20 bills,
Eimiller said.

Investigators suspect the same man robbed a Wells Fargo bank branch at 170 Main St. on Feb. 12, Eimiller said.

The suspect was described as Caucasian, between 45 and 50 years old, around 5 feet 2 inches and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He has a light complexion and Monday was seen in worn, navy blue clothes with rimmed round glasses and a baseball cap.
